1. Internet purchases will be subject to a 15% buyer’s premium (unless otherwise noted). 2. Online bidding during the Live Auction is a fast process, and therefore there is no confirmation given - bids will be taken immediately and are irrevocable. 3. The highest bidder shall be the purchaser upon the completion of bid verification. Bid verification will commence upon the conclusion of a live auction and may last 48 hours. All winning bidders shall be notified by email within the 48 hour bid verification period. 4. No bidder shall retract their bid. In the event of a dispute between two or more bidders, the auctioneer, at his sole discretion may put the lot up for resale to the highest bidder. 5. A bidder is deemed to have accepted an item when making a bid. 6. The auctioneer reserves the right to withdraw any lot at any time prior to the time of sale of such lot. 7. The auctioneer reserves the right not to accept any bid which is only a partial advance over the preceding bid. 8. The auctioneer may break down or consolidate any lot or lots at his sole discretion. 9. Seymour Antiques & Auctions assumes no responsibility for any liability once a bid is accepted. It is recommended that purchasers arrange insurance for their purchases in advance. 10. Except as set out herein, there shall be no warranties or guarantees expressed or implied, statutory or otherwise of any nature. 11. Please take advantage of in person or online preview as all items are sold "As Is, Where Is" - catalogs are prepared only as a guide. No sale shall be invalidated by any reason or defect or inaccuracy of description in catalog or otherwise, and no liability shall be borne by the auctioneers by virtue of any such fault or error. All sales are final. 12. Attendance at the auction, preview, or removal by bidders and guests is done at their sole risk. Seymour Antiques & Auctions assumes no risk or liability, statutory, common law or otherwise whatsoever for the safety of those attending at the auction premises. 13. Internet bidders must pay within 48 hours upon receipt of their e-mail notification. Payment may be by credit card at PayPal (a customized link will be included in your e-mail notification for payment), other forms of payment must be confirmed in advance. 14. Sales tax shall be added to the purchase price of South Carolina residents unless satisfactory proof of exemption is filed with the auction office. 15. The purchaser is not entitled to possession until all items have been paid for in full. In the event that the purchase prices are not paid within the prescribed time, the auctioneer shall have the right to re-sell such items in whatever manner he sees fit without notice to the purchaser. Any shortfall from sale plus commission and expenses thereof shall be paid by the purchaser. 16. All costs and responsibilities of removal shall be borne by the purchaser/bidder within the time prescribed by the auctioneer. The auctioneer may require proof of adequate insurance from the purchaser. The purchaser/bidder herby indemnifies the auctioneer and the consignor(s) against any and all damages arising from the dismantling and removal of any lots. 17. Purchaser/bidder may contact Larry Collins of Collins Office Furniture at 843-224-0840 to arrange Packing and Shipping or a contractor of their choice. Purchaser/bidder shall have all items removed from auction site within 5 days after auction. 18. Any lots not removed within the prescribed time shall be subject to storage, moving, disposal and service charges at the sole risk and expense of the purchaser. All such lots shall be deemed as abandoned and shall be subject to resale for the recovery of such charges. The purchaser shall also be liable for any rent or damages sustained by the auctioneer for failure to remove any lot. 19. If for any reason, Seymour Antiques & Auctions is unable to deliver any or all of an awarded lot or title thereof, the sole liability of Seymour Antiques & Auctions shall be the refund of any monies paid on the lot. 20. It is the sole responsibility of the purchaser to remove their items within the prescribed time. 21. When bidding for an item that has quantity greater than 1, if you are successful, you will receive one of the grouping, not necessarily the first lot.
