McClurg & Co., 1924), first edition, first printing, 350 pages (including afterword), frontispiece by J. Allen St. John, brown cloth with dark brown lettering, 12mo (5" x 7.5"), no dust jacket. This adventure, originally serialized in <I>Argosy All-Story Weekly,</B></I> sees the Lord of the Apes crash-land on his first solo flight, where he meets a race of eighteen-inch tall Caucasian pygmy warriors called the Minuians, the Ant Men of the title. Captured by a rival group of Ant Men, Tarzan is shrunken to their size and must escape, bringing a slave girl and a Minuian Prince along with him. This copy is in good condition with some separation of the front inner hinge. Otherwise, it is a good, clean copy.
