Apollo 14 flown “White Room” bag, 10 x 10.5, used to carry a portion of the Apollo 14 mission emblems to lunar orbit. These were the same emblems used in the limited edition ‘Earth Our Cradle.’ The bag is signed in black felt tip, “This white room wrapping carried a portion of the limited edition Betas entitled ‘Earth Our Cradle’ to lunar orbit aboard ‘Kitty Hawk.’ Edgar Mitchell, Apollo 14 LMP.” The bag also bears a NASA-MSC “cleaned for service” label. In fine condition, with a separation along the top edge, where the bag was originally opened. This well-preserved bag also retains some of its original pink coloration, and Edgar Mitchell’s handwritten inscription that contrasts nicely on surface of the bag. This is a unique opportunity for one purchaser of the “Earth Our Cradle” limited-edition to actually acquire one of the few original bags which carried the mission emblem used in the edition. Accompanied by a signed, illustrated letter of authenticity showing Mitchell with the bag and the emblems.
