Hockey Hall of Famer (1902–1985) who was the only NHL defenseman to win the Hart Trophy as MVP four times. Vintage glossy 6.25 x 8 Wide World press photo of Shore in his New York American’s sweater, signed and inscribed in blue ballpoint “With best wishes Jim, Eddie Shore.” Caption affixed to reverse states “He is an American now.” In very good condition, with scattered creases and surface marks, a bit of light contrast to last name of signature, scattered silvering to darker areas, and light rippling from caption affixed to reverse.
