American politician (1754–1834) who served during the Revolutionary War and was a first responder to the historic Lexington alarm of April 19, 1775. Partly-printed DS, signed “Ebin. Huntington,” one page, 7 x 3.25, February 1, 1789. In full: “Received of Oliver Wolcott, comptroller of the Public Accounts, Eight pounds nineteen shillings & five pence Lawful Money, in four Certificates; being for the Interest on five State Notes, amounting to £149:10:3 computed to the first of February, A.D. 1789.” In fine condition.
