Includes one on which artisan used ultra-small beads on moccasin with a velvet cuff bound with red trade cloth and beaded in colors of pale blue, white, and greasy yellow, with a velvet vamp beaded in typical Iroquois floral pattern in colors of crystal, pale and medium blue, translucent yellow and green, red, and pale orange, and with old metal sequins on top; 10" long; AND another pair with larger beads on moccasin with a velvet cuff bound with dark tan wool twill tape and simple bead design in colors of white and crystal, with a red wool twill vamp beaded in typical Iroquois floral pattern in colors of crystal, white, translucent green, yellow, blue, and red, and pink; 8.5" long. Good condition, some bead and metal sequin loss, edging around vamp missing some beads; second lot in fair to good condition, no bead loss, but wool tape around cuff torn and with insect damage, velvet cuff separated from one moccasin.

<p>Condition of Items in the Sale. Cowan’s Historic Americana Auctions does not warrant the condition of any lot sold. ALL PROPERTY IS SOLD AS IS, and neither Cowan’s nor the consignor makes any warranties or representations of any kind or nature with respect to the property or it’s value, and in no event shall they be responsible for correctness of description, genuineness, attribution, provenance, authenticity, authorship, completeness, condition of the property or estimate of it’s value. No statement (oral or written) in the catalog, at the auction, or elsewhere shall be deemed such a warranty or representation, or any assumption of responsibility.
<p>While condition reports for most items can be found online at Cowan’s website www.historicamericana.com, prospective bidders are urged to contact Cowan’s directly for detailed information regarding any lot. THERE SHALL BE NO RETURNS FOR ANY REASON.
<p>Estimates. Pre-sale estimates of the expected hammer price of each lot are provided for the convenience of prospective bidders. In most cases, they do not represent reserves. Bidders are encouraged to bid what they feel an item is worth.

<p>HOW DO I BID?
<p>Internet bidding through icollector and ebaylive auctions is offered as a service to our customers, and prospective bidders shall not hold the auctioneer or his staff responsible for any errors or failures in executing bids, nor shall they hold the auctioneer responsible for any failure due to the loss of the auction applet supplied to Cowan’s by ebayliveauctions.
