Attribution of these coins with the name of Charles II are debatable, some Western scholars do not attribute these coins to Charles The II however most of these coins found with the coins of William and Mary veteran scholar Sri Pukhraj Surana believe that these coins may be struck by Charles The II. More research of these mysterious coins will resolve the puzzle. However, there is unanimous view of all the scholars that these coins struck on Mughal pattern by colonial powers English, Dutch, Danish or French.
