Early martial Colt Model 1903 DA revolver marked “U.S. Army Model 1901” on the butt strap and serial #199083 with standard configuration of .38 cal., 6” barrel, blue finish, lanyard ring and wood grips with R.A.C. inspections on left side of frame, back of cylinder and on bottom of left grip however, also marked “1903” on the lower left side of the frame and showing a JTT inspector marking on the top of the left side frame above the cylinder release. The gun is in overall excellent condition displaying approx. 95% original bright high polish blue finish with sharp markings, fine bore, crisp action and overall fine wood grips. There are also K inspection markings under the barrel at the breech, in the crane and on the cylinder release, the crane assembly numbers match the number on that release and the hammer, trigger and screw heads retain the majority of their original niter blue finish.
