inlaid W.H. Baddeley with W/B brand in brass, William H. Baddeley was a rancher in Stanley County near Hayes, SD, later blacksmith, born 1852, died 1934 and buried at Ft. Pierre South Dakota. His son Charles contined ranching in Hays as his brand is listed in 1940 SD brand book. An interesting old South Dakota ranch piece measures 7" long.
