The upper front left side of the trigger guard is marked with a "T" over the Colt triangle "VP" proof and "69" on the opposite. The "No" style serial number is on the right side of the frame as well as "UNITED STATES PROPERTY" and "M1911A1 U.S.ARMY" markings. The slide is marked "725321", possibly a factory error. Very fine. The pistol retains 75% plus original blue finish with some thinning and wear on the bottom of the frame, high edge wear on the slide and a dark patina on the front strap with some minor pitting. There is some light spotting on the top of the slide. The grips are very good with a few minor dings and crisp checkering. The markings are remain clear and crisp. Mechanically excellent.
