Early Winchester Model 75 Target Bolt Action Rifle, #17376, .22 LR cal., 28" barrel, with blue finish. Smooth walnut one-piece pistol grip target stock with sling swivels, accessories rail on underside of the forend, ending with a checkered steel shotgun style buttplate, providing a 13.25" LOP. Barrel with vacant front and rear sight blocks. There is an aperture sight base at the left rear of the receiver. Includes one detachable 5-round Winchester magazine, with magazine release button on left side of stock. Factory markings are crisp, with Winchester "WP" proofs on the left side of the barrel and front ring, bolt is etched with matching serial number. Rifle is topped with a Weaver style one-piece base, rings, and a Simmons ProAir 4x fixed power scope, with an adjustable objective, matte black finish, duplex reticle, and includes a set of plastic lens covers. Scope optics are clear and bright. Rifle was mfgd in 1939, 2nd year of production, and is in near fine overall condition, retaining approx. 90%-92% factory blue, showing areas of thinning, and some areas of mild surface erosion along the barrel and on the trigger. Trigger guard shows some areas of wear to gray metal. Stock with scattered indentations and scratches that are consistent with range use. Action functions smoothly with a crisp trigger.
