This is a relatively early example manufactured in 1934 with a beaded blade front sight, rear sight dovetail is filled with a Williams blank, with a tang mounted rear peep sight. There were approximately 15,300 manufactured with the short 20 inch barrel. Fitted with a walnut forearm and pistol grip stock with smooth steel buttplate.

Condition: Excellent, 90% original blue finish with some muzzle, high edge and buttplate wear. The left side of the receiver has moderate pin prick spotting with a few lines of wear. The wood is very good with scattered minor scratches, with a few larger hadling marks on the forearm.
