Description: For your bidding pleasure is this rare, Model 1866 Winchester (AKA Yellowboy) rifle with Henry barrel markings. This one has a 19,*** serial # (numbers inside of the butt plate and underside of the tang). The serial number under the tang is an early feature which also only occurs below serial # 20,000. This rifle features a brass fore end nose cap and brass crescent butt plate with original cleaning rod inside. It has a one-cock hammer (early version) and a 24” octagon barrel.
