Early production WWII. The left side of the slide is marked "P.38 ac/41" next to the serial number. Standard Eagle/135 Waffenamt proofs, with the small "ac" proof on the trigger guard. The right side of the slide has a single eagle firing proof and the two "eagle/359" acceptance proofs which also appear on the barrel lug and locking block. Black ribbed grips with a single blue "eagle/WaA359" proofed wartime magazine. With a black leather holster marked "CWW/Eagle WaA392/1942/P.38" on the back.

Very fine with 90% plus of the blue finish overall with edge and high spot wear, and minor thinning and scratches on the grip strap. There is a patch of pitting on the right side of the slide. The grips are also very fine with nice color and minor handling marks. The holster is very good with nice color overall, showing some scuffs and scratches overall and clear markings on the back, and tight stitching. Matching numbers except magazine.
