Early Scottish basket hilt broadsword circa 1720-1740 with Glasgow style hilt. The grip and pommel are old replacements. One panel is cracked, probably repaired at period of use as the grip is hewn of wood. One panel showscrack and bending from battle. The blade shows some heavy pitting towards the end, generally good overall. A good early Scottish sword. Est: $2,000 - $4,000
