Early Savage Model 1907 Semi-Automatic Pistol with Two Digit Serial Number and Factory Letter
The included factory letter confirms the serial number and caliber and that the pistol was shipped on October 17, 1908 to Simmons Hardware Co., St. Louis, Missouri and returned to the factory for unspecified work dated January 18, 1928 for the George Seitel Sporting Goods Co. The letter also gives a brief history of the Model 1907. Fixed sights, two line address/1905 patent date marking followed by "CAL 32" on top of the slide and checkered blue finished metal grips that feature the Indian head Savage logo.
