Manuscript Document. One page, 12” x 14 ¼”. Colony of Rhode Island. March 21, 1720/21. The document is an indenture between James King and Sarah King and a number of trustees, including JOHN WANTON (1672-1740) Colonial governor of Rhode Island. The indenture is for an estimated fifty acres of land located within the Providence Colony. Docketing on verso notes a number of payments received. Some paper loss and toning. Overall Very Good.
