Condition: Very fine. The rifle retains 50% slightly faded original blue finish, mainly on the magazine tube and receiver, with the barrel having a smooth brown patina. The lever shows much of the original faded case colors on the sides, showing some of the original pattern on the bottom, with the balance having a mottled gray patina. With the exception of a moderate pressure dent on the right side wrist, the wood is very good with scattered minor dings, dents and scratches. The markings are clear. The action is excellent.
