Manufactured in 1918. Fixed sights, with the 3-line, 2-block address and patent dates flanking the "REMINGTON/UMC" logo on the left side of the slide, the 2-line Army nomenclature on the right, and "eagle head/E1" and "E" stamps on the "E.E.C." inspected frame. Fitted with a barrel marked with a faint "P" on the right side of the lug, long smooth trigger, checkered wide spur hammer, checkered slide stop and thumb safety, smooth mainspring housing and checkered grips. With a brown cardboard storage box hand-numbered to gun. No magazine.

Very good, with 25% of the original blue finish, concentrated on the slide, with a mixed brown and gray patina on the frame, scattered light pitting, bright edge wear and handling marks. Grips are good, with mild dings and tiny chips. Magazine is absent. Mechanically fine.
