Early Production U.S. Colt Model 1911 Semi-Automatic Pistol

Manufactured in 1913. Blade front and arched notch rear sights, with the two line, two block patent dates and address on the left side of the slide, the Rampant Colt behind the serrations, and "MODEL OF 1911. U.S. ARMY" on the right, with a Penfield-inspected, "UNITED STATES PROPERTY" marked frame. Fitted with a "P H" marked barrel, wide and short checkered hammer, smooth long trigger, short grip safety, checkered slide stop and thumb safety, flat mainspring housing with lanyard staple and checkered walnut grips. With a brown cardboard storage box hand numbered to gun.

Fine as partially refinished (cold blue on front grip strap), with 70% of the original blue finish on the balance, showing bright wear along the edges, mixed brown and gray patina on the front strap and mainspring housing, and minor handling marks overall. The grips are good, with mild dents and scratches. Magazine is absent. Mechanically fine.
