Manufactured in 1871, the first year of production, with an integral ejector. The top of the barrel has the two line Hartford address flanked by Maltese crosses with matching numbers on barrel lug, frame and both grips. Missing ejector rod.

Condition: Very good. The barrel and cylinder have a smooth brown-gray patina with traces of original blue finish retained in the protective areas on the barrel. There is some very scattered light pin point pitting on the cylinder and a minor ding on the muzzle. The frame has been cleaned many years ago, but now has an even mustard yellow patina. The grips are very good with some high edge wear and some scattered minor handling marks. Mechanically fine.
