Manufactured in 1913. Fixed sights, with the two line, two block address and patent marking (1897 and 1903) on the left side of the slide, with the Rampant Colt behind the serrations and "AUTOMATIC COLT / CALIBRE 32 RIMLESS SMOKELESS" on the right side. The upper left front of the trigger guard is marked with the Colt triangle "VP" proof and the letter "R" on the lower left rear. Blue unmarked magazine, blue barrel, and fitted with checkered hard rubber grips with "COLT" banners at the top and the Rampant Colt over the stylized "C" on the bottom. Complete in the original maroon hinged lid box, numbered to the gun, with instruction pamphlet and correct end and interior labels.

Condition: Excellent. The pistol retains 95% original blue finish with a mix of cold blue touch-up and smooth gray on the back of the slide and frame, high edge wear with some minor pitting on the edges and overall minor scattered scratches and handling marks. The grips are also excellent with minor wear and handling marks, and crisp overall checkering. The markings are crisp and clear. Mechanically excellent. The original box is fine with some heavy edge wear, a separated corner on the lid and all labels intact.
