Early Pre-World War I German 1910 Dated DWM Model 1908 Military Luger with Holster

This is a 1910 dated DWM model 1908 German Military Luger, complete with a brown leather holster and spare magazine. The chamber is dated 1910 with the DWM monogram on the front toggle. The left side of the barrel extension is stamped with the two correct "Crown/Script Letter" proofs next to the single Imperial Eagle firing proof. The same firing proof is found on the right side of the barrel. It is numbered in the military manner with the full serial number on the frame and underside of the barrel with the last two digits (17) on the various smaller parts. It has the standard fixed sights, safety area and extractor markings. It is fitted with an unmarked nickel plated magazine with a wooden base that is marked "4156/i/+". This Luger is complete with a brown leather holster that is dated "1917" in the inside of the flap and "SCHNEIDER/BRIEGL" on the front of the holster and a spare blue reproduction magazine and reproduction takedown tool.

Very fine with 85% of the blue finish overall with wear on the edges and high spots with spotting on the grip straps. The various small parts retain 40% of their straw colors overall. The grips are also in very fine condition with nice visible checkering on both sides, with minor handling marks. The holster is in very good condition with tight stitching and clear markings with a repaired toe area.
