This lot has a early example of a frontier plains Half Kentucky percussion black powder rifle. The rifle features a half stock, under ribbed barrel, acorn trigger guard, and a iron ram rod. The octagon barrel shows great patina and good condition. The brass shows well and gives the rifle a great look, the forearm of the stock is capped in polished horn. The rifle is in good condition, but does show signs of use and wear (see photos). The rifle is unmarked. The rifle measures 47 1/4" L x 31 3/8" barrel length
