This is an early Nippon dish made in Japan in the around 1910 or before. Nippon was made between 1891 and 1921. It is now called Noritake. This piece is marked with the "komaru" symbol which is from the Japanese character for "overcoming difficulties". It is the clan crest for the Morimura family. The piece has no chips, cracks or chiggers. There is some wear on the gold around the rims.
