Early New England tilt top chair table in maple and pine c1820 to 1850. This country antique chair table has its original two board top measuring 39 and one half inches across. The table surface is 30 inches high. The chair base is 19 and one half inches wide, 20 inches deep and 20 inches to the seat surface. The base was professionally extended to bring it back to its proper height for seating and the top rubbed out and waxed. The original green paint is still beneath the chair seat and the drawer, along with an old paper label reading J. E. Kasow 27 Bishop St Waterbury CT Value $12.00 This table was found in a Rhode Island estate.
