Beautiful Early Merwin & Hulbert 1st Model Frontier Single Action Revolver, #1155, .44 M&H cal., 7'' barrel, nickel finish, mottled red/brown hard rubber grips, lanyard loop in butt, with Mexican style curved hammer and period brown leather double jockstrap lined holster; top strap of holster marked ''44'' and bottom marked ''113''. Revolver additionally features detent pin on barrel release lever. Mfg'd 1876-1878. Condition is fine to near excellent retaining approx. 94% factory nickel with most of the losses as light pitting to high edges of cylinder. Grips show light wear and one near imperceptible repair to left side heel. Action is tight, bore is good. Holster has one minor separation at top cross strap that could be carefully repaired.
