This is an original “Man Power” Railroad Inspection Car manufactured by the Light Inspection Car Works. These were used primarily circa 1880's. This is an exceptionally rare and early small gauge railroad piece. The bicycle was recovered from a Montana Railroad by James Edgerley of the OR&W Ride-On Railroad Collection. The piece shows similarity’s to a typical bicycle, but shows the larger railroad wheels with rubber lining. The front of the piece shows the manufacture tag. The piece is missing one of the wheels, but otherwise is an exceptionally rare original piece of Montana Railroad History. The piece measures 24”W x 55.25”L x 41”H. Only available piece of its kind.
