Description: A very collectible and large Navajo pictorial textile depicting 6 Indian ladies in traditional attire. Interestingly, the two middle ladies have black torsos and faces. Woven on a beautifully hand-carded and blended variegated brown field and framed with a nice, red and brown saw-tooth side border. Hand-spun churro wool. Maker: Unknown Navajo weaver. Approx. Age: Circa 1915-1925. Size: 72” l x 53” w. Condition: Pretty good for its age, wear expected. Please look closely at the pictures - they are an important part of our description.
