This is an early Kestner head. It is a closed mouth and if you want to see the head in a Blue Book look at the 15th one. Some of these heads are just getting so hard to find. This head has the mark fancy G made in Germany 11 and then under it but above the 2 holes it say 128. I know the back of the head picture doesn't show up too good. The eyes have been set at some point in time so they do not sleep and the plaster dome is gone except for a little plaster on the trim. The wig is an old mohair one and I only pulled up enough to make sure I could see some plaster remain from the dome. Kestner is the only company that used the plaster dome. If you look at the close up of the face there is just one tiny rub spot on the cheek. I see no cracks, hairlines, etc. to the bisque. The head is on a marked Heinrich Handwerck body. It is stamped in blue on the butt! The body is in great shape. Fingers have just a little wear but no chips or broken fingers. I undressed her so you could see the body. The socks are very tight so I didn't want to pull them off. The lower legs seem to be all intact. She is from a smoke free environment.
Buyer to pay $30 for U.S. shipping, insurance, and handling. If you can love her, please bid. Thanks for viewing.
