Iroquois Raised Beadwork is a rare and beautiful style of Native American art which originated in the Eastern Great Lakes region. Beads are sown to create intricate patterns with a three dimensional effect. This beaded wall pocket displays bold black felt showcasing the Iroquois beading allowing the colors to pop. This item shows excellent condition. This piece comes with an original museum collection tag stating, "C-41 E.JJ". Provenance: From a large Native American weapons and beadwork collection in Great Falls, Montana.
