We found this Rare and Complete Early Crystal And Bronze Stationary Set in the Heart of Paris, France. We first have to say this set is Museum Quality and quite deserving of the finest Desk. Set is complete with no chips, nicks, cracks or such to crystal. Only tiny ding to bronze cap on inkwell and small traces of ink on Envelope Holder. This magnificent set consists of a large Inkwell with hinged cap and two grooves on top for resting of pen or pens 3.25" X 3.25". A Pen Tray that has remains of ink; perhaps from original owner? 6.5" long and 2.75 wide. A Large heavy ornate Paperweight 4.75" long and 3.5" wide. A large Letter Opener with cystal so clear it looks as though it is filled with the finest french water. 8.75" long and 1" wide. An Envelope Holder 6.25" Long 2.75" Wide. Last but not least, is a superb Pen with Nib. 6.5" long. This is a breathtaking set for ones with the highest appreciation for French Rarities. Notice how the Laurel Leave reoccurs around the entire set. This hearkens back to the Greco-Roman era and what Napoleon had actually worn and ushered in with his reign.
