Early Estate Auction Record Itemizing Slave. Manuscript document, six pp., 7.75" x 13", n.p., n.d. This is an early nineteenth century auctioneer's ledger naming buyers and listing goods sold from a rural estate sale. Tools, livestock, and household items make up the bulk of the property, however there is a "negro woman" recorded as having been sold for a mere two dollars. Even browning as expected with some roughness to edges. Overall a sound and legible document. Very good condition.

Shipping: Small Flat (view shipping information)
