Manufactured in 1957, the second year of production for the Second Generation Single Action Army revolver. Standard barrel and frame markings with matching serial number on frame and grip straps under the grip. The checkered Rampant Colt grips are mis-matched to the gun. Matching assembly number on the back of the frame and on the loading gate.

Condition:
Excellent. The revolver retains 90% original blue finish with some muzzle and edge wear, and some thinning on the barrel and grip straps. There is a drag line and some minor scratches on the cylinder. The frame retains 98% original bright case colors. The grips are very good with a few minor dings and handling marks, with crisp checkering. The inside heel of each panel has had a small piece of wood glued to it (reason unknown to writer). The markings are crisp and clear. The action is excellent.
