Early Colt Baby Dragoon in .31 caliber percussion with 4” barrel remaining in good to very good original condition showing considerable original Indian fighting scene, serial number 874. The metal surfaces show a light gray to brown patinafinish with some traces of case hardening on the frame and faint traces of blue where protected. The edges and markings are very sharp and patent marks on the frame are fully legible. The cylinder shows 30% to 50% original scene that is slightlylight. The grips are good to very good with an impeccable fit and even loss of varnish, minor marks but at least very good overall. All matching visible serial numbers including the wedge. The back strap and trigger guard show 20% to 40%original silver. The action needs repair and is not working. A very early and presentable baby Dragoon. Est.: $3,500-$7,000
