The black is hard to get a picture of but this head is 6 1/2" tall and was made in Germany. It has 3 sew holes. The head is a big head. The head has a fairly plain hairdo with snood in the back. At one time there was gold for accent but it has all been rubbed off. She has brushmarks all around the face for hair. She has delicate coloring and painted blue eyes. This may be referred to as the Alice hairdo as she has a black headband across the top of the head. Part of her ears are exposed. She has the line between the lips and an open oval painted inside each nostril. She has the red dots at the eyes and the red line above the eyes. There is some rub to the paint in the back but not bad. You can see she has the shoulders with the deep slope. There is a pretty good picture of this type head in The Art of Dolls 1700-1940 by Madeline Osborne Merrill on page 112. She is from a smoke free environment. Buyer to pay $20.00 for U.S. shipping, insurance, and handling. Thanks for viewing.
