Early Broadsword reduced in length and size during 19th century possible for colonial use. Blade shows running wolf mark and 1414 Cypher. 33” overall. Braided steel wrapped grip in correct style which has been nicely restored. Major elements, blade, guard, pommel are all forged steel and 17th century or earlier. Pirates used just this style sword.
