This is an early pair of Arapaho Native American Indian beaded moccasins from the 19th century. The set shows excellent craftsmanship with Indian tanned hide and feature a rare pattern of beadwork done with Chalk White, Greasy Yellow, Light Turquoise Blue, Opaque Royal Blue, Black and Semi Transparent orange. This geometric fancy pattern is believed to be very rare and is truly a museum representation. Provenance: From a large Native American Indian artifact private collection in Saskatchewan, Canada. The moccasins are in good overall condition with no visible bead loss. They measure 3" x 8.25".
