This is an exceedingly rare Early American Flintlock Long Rifle with exceptional Curly Tiger Maple from circa 1790-1815. The rifle is chambered in .69 Caliber and shows an excellent curly tiger maple solid wood stock with playful bright wood grain. The rifle has a heavy touch marked round barrel being 40.75"L. The rifle also shows a fancy brass trigger guard, brass butt stock, and brass ramrod hardware. The ramrod included is forged iron and believed to be original to the piece, a rare addition. The barrel shows three touchmarks on the left side of the top of the barrel showing a crown with crossed swords and "SPC" along with a "1" over an eagle, and crown with crossed swords and a "V". Excellent deluxe contract Flint Musket circa 1790-1815. Overall measures 56.25"L.
