c.1919 lithograph, signed Albert Mueller, (1884-1963, German) pencil titled left lower margin, pencil signed lower right margin. 14" X 18". * tear to the bottom left margin that will not affect the etching once framed.  Biography from Michael Zeller 1884 Schwandorf - 1963 Bremen. The central figure of classical modernism in southwestern Germany. Studied at the Munich & Stuttgart Academy, master student of A. Holzel. Along with his fellow W. Baumeister & O. Schlemmer, he founded in 1919 the avant-garde "Uecht Group". From 1924 was a member of the "Stuttgarter Secession". Albert Mueller is dedicated in the 1930s, mainly the production of works on paper, "Mueller takes over these years to a very picturesque resolved style in which probably influences the own teaching [at the State School of Applied Arts in Stuttgart; make note of the author] to his artistic works as well under the then-emerging work there are very many portraits of women, also representations of his own wife "(quoted in Schlichtenmaier / Klee,...
