Early 20th Century German Drilling, NSNV, 16x16x9.3mm, exposed hammers, barrels measure 26-13/16''; rifle barrel is recessed from the ends of the shotgun muzzles and measures overall 25-3/4'', maker's name has been covered by European dovetail scope base. Frame, triggerguard, and extra bullet compartment door are neatly engraved with woodsy game scenes and scrollwork; European walnut stock with cheekpiece and splinter forend, with underlever barrel release. Condition is good to very good retaining 95% later blackening. Left 16 ga. tube with small ding approx. 8'' from muzzle. Stocks with moderate to heavy wear to checks, but with a crisp action, bright bores to shotgun, and rifle barrel is fair to good. Est.: $500-$750.
