Clip point blade, 9" long, with an unsharpened clip. Bronze crossguard, 4" long and 1 1/8" wide, with one piece dog bone shaped wooden handle and 3/4 length tang with two grip rivets. "Wm. M. N." is carved on right side of handle. Scabbard is made of tin and has constructed of two pieces soldered together, with single piece throat and a belt loop soldered on left side. Consignor states knife is circa 1830-1840's. OAL: 13 3/4".

Condition: Very good. Blade has darkened with age and has minor spotting and light area of pitting. Sharpening marks visible on blade. Bronze guard has light pitting overall. Handle is good, with some bruising and minor wear overall. Scabbard is good, with some dents and the two pieces are starting to separate along blade edge. Visible soldering marks overall.
