<B>Early 1990's Mike Gartner Game Worn Jersey.</B></I> Outstanding wear on this white mesh gamer makes us shudder to think the sort of injuries the Hall of Fame superstar must have suffered during its use, as heavy stick and puck marks are capped by an ugly and jagged team repair at the edge of the rear numerals. Red and blue tackle twill spells "Rangers" in stairstep pattern across the chest, with "Gartner 22" on verso. Number "22" appears again on each sleeve. "Gerry Cosby" label with Madison Square Garden address inside collar has handwritten size notation of "52" on attached flap tag. Fight strap affixed at interior rear tail. Perfect blue sharpie inscription on shoulder reads, "To Sal, Best Wishes, Mike Gartner." One of three Gartner jerseys offered within this auction. <I>LOA from Milt Byron.
