Early 1970's Lance Alworth Game Worn Jersey. He's considered by most football experts to be well entrenched in the uppermost echelon of receivers in NFL history. Rice, Hutson, Warfield, Alworth, Swann, take your pick. Even though Bambi only spent the final two seasons of his illustrious career in Dallas, they were productive ones, and he caught a crucial touchdown pass to help elevate the Cowboys to their very first Super Bowl win. While this unusual hybrid gamer featuring a mesh body and durene sleeves came into great usage after Alworth's retirement, it was certainly available during Lance's stay in Texas, and can be seen in photos of preseason Cowboys games at the old Cotton Bowl. Number "19" is sewn in royal blue tackle twill to chest, back and sleeves, with "Alworth" spelled in bold block lettering across rear satin nameplate. "Southland" label inside collar sports a "Size 46" cloth flap tag below. Wear could be categorized as minimal, though there is some numeral puckering on verso to indicate use. Consigned by a former Dallas Cowboys staffer, with his letter of provenance. LOA from Lou Lampson.

Shipping: Clothing, Costumes & Jerseys (view shipping information)
