<B>Early 1940's Mel Ott Signed Photograph.</B></I> We'll jump to the conclusion that the stellar 10/10 bold black fountain pen signature dates to the era that this photograph was taken, shortly before the onset of the Second World War as Ott closed in on the fabled 500 home run mark. While the photo exhibits obvious wear in the form of scattered creasing and small tears, paint and tack holes, the all-important autograph blazes through like a real trooper.
