Description: For sale in this lot is an early 1900s regional Navajo Textile featuring reds, browns, and whites. This is an old Navajo weaving from the Ashby collection and it is the first time this item has been on the market in a very, very long time! The Ashby collection was handed down from their 2 grandfathers, both of which worked on the Navajo reservation in the early 1900s. Maker: Unknown Navajo weaver. Approx. Age: Early 1900s. Size: 45” x 71”. Condition: Pretty good for its age, some wear expected. Please look closely at the pictures - they are an important part of our description. Shipping: There will be a $8 handling / packaging fee for shipping this lot. The actual cost of postage will be added on top of that.
