Martino Becano, Societatis Iesu theologo. Hand-sewn with vellum covers, written by Jesuit Priest Martinus Becanus, De Triplici Sacrificio Naturae Legis Gratiae. * Ex-library book, with cataloging number written in permanent white ink on spine & a library check out card affixed to the inside back cover. Several library stamps, including the Societas Jesu Toledo Ohio & West Baden College Library & pencil marks on several pages, including inside front cover & cover page, & losses to original handwriting on the cover of the spine, as seen in photos. 6 1/4" X 4 1/4" X 1 3/4". Martinus Becanus (1563 – 1624 ) was a Dutch-born Jesuit priest, known as a theologian & controversialist, as well as a prolific writer, author of some 37 books, most of them works of polemics. We've been working very hard to revamp our warehouses and inventory supply chain to bring our bidders something they've been asking for over the years. This also includes complimentary insurance coverage up to $100 in value.
Items weighing more than 5lbs or shipped outside the contiguous USA or having a value more than $100 will be billed at discounted USPS and UPS shipping rates and will show as a quoted line-item on your final winning invoice.
We handle shipping internally to best secure and insure your won lots. Please allow 3-4 weeks to receive your items depending on where you are in the world relative to the item(s) you won at auction.
Larger items (those items larger than 24" or weighing more than 41 pounds) may need to be picked up locally or arrange for local pickup or your own freight using a service like uShip. There is a $50/docking/loading fee for local pickup of items and we do require 24-48 hour notice as we have warehouses all around the world and need to coordinate for pickup at each one depending on your location. We can help coordinate logistics but the primary responsibility for claiming your new possession(s) is on you, the winning bidder.
Items not coordinated for pickup within 45-days of winning the item at auction will be stored at $5/day until picked up or until the full value of the item has been absolved in storage fees at which point the item will become the property of Connoisseur to resell or dispose of as it deems best.
IMPORTANT: There will accordingly be three line-item fees on your winning bidder invoice to note:
1.) Online Transaction Fee - 2.5% credit card processing and 2.5% online hosting management
2.) Shipping, Packing, and Handling (if you are outside the contiguous US or purchased an item more than 5lbs) - these are primarily based upon our discounted USPS and UPS shipping tables, box and packing material rates, and labor
