He had a major influence on John Coltrane. DS, one page, 8.5 x 11, August 27, 1959. Contract by which Bostic agrees to play at Club Handy in Memphis on November 10, 1959. Signed at the conclusion in blue ballpoint by Earl Bostic and countersigned by Andrew 'Sunbeam' Mitchell, the club's owner. In fine condition. Accompanied by a letter from Bostic's manager, Joe Musse, concerning the payment for the performance.
