Signed by Eamonn Mallie on title-page. A beautifully presented book, large quarto, hard-cover in dust-jacket and with a protective wooden slipcase. Contains many full page illustrations of Irish paintings, many of which are held in private collections and thus rarely if ever seen. Also with essays by Aidan Dunne, Brian Fallon, Solly Lipsitz and Thomas Ryan. A limited edition, most copies of which were presented to diplomats and dignitaries making this an extremely difficult book to acquire.
