EXTREMELY EARLY G. WASHINGTON TEXTILE. A printed felt portrait of Washington, sword in one hand, the other outstretched, with columns, draperies, etc. in background, based on the painting by Gilbert Stuart. We believe this to be an early (circa 1810-20) textile. Minor pile loss in upper right corner, colors still bright. Framed under glass, 17 x 21" visible; not removed from frame for examination.
